Terms of Use — Overtime Log
Last updated: October 18, 2026
These terms govern Overtime Log — Hours & Pay ("the App"), developed by Alex Masure. By using the App, you agree to these terms and Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).
1. License
The App is licensed, not sold, under Apple's Standard EULA unless a separate written agreement applies.
Apple Standard EULA: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
2. What the App Does
The App lets you record jobs, shifts, breaks, rates and pay rules, estimate gross pay including overtime and premiums, and compare an entered payslip with the amount calculated from your records. It runs on supported iPhone and iPad devices.
The App does not connect to employers, payroll providers or banks; it cannot verify that your employer's rules or the figures you enter are correct.
3. Free Version and Pro
The free version includes one job, unlimited shift entry and overtime calculations, the current and previous pay periods in full, older periods listed with amounts and details locked, one Owed / Paid payslip comparison, and iCloud sync. Widgets, Live Activity and reminders are available on supported iPhone or iPad devices. Premium rules can be created in the free version, but their amounts are part of Pro.
Overtime Log Pro is an optional one-time, non-consumable purchase that unlocks multiple jobs, premium amounts, full history, additional payslip comparisons, and PDF and CSV exports. There is no subscription. Apple processes purchases, restores and refund requests under App Store policies.
4. Estimates and Your Records
Results depend on the time entries, rates, pay periods, premiums and overtime rules you provide. They are estimates, not a payslip, wage entitlement determination, legal opinion or payroll service. Check your contract, payslip and applicable rules before relying on a figure or taking action. Seek qualified advice where needed.
Your records live on your device and may sync through your personal iCloud account when available. The developer cannot recover your records. You are responsible for checking your entries and maintaining your own backups. See the Privacy Policy for storage and sharing details.
5. Availability and Changes
The App is provided subject to applicable law and Apple's platform services. Features and these terms may change; revisions will be reflected in the date above. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
6. Governing Law and Contact
These terms are governed by French law without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules applicable to you. Subject to those rules, disputes fall within the jurisdiction of the French courts.
