1. Apple Standard EULA

CaseBack is licensed, not sold, to you. Your use of the App is subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement unless a separate written agreement applies.

2. Description of the App

CaseBack is a personal watch collection journal for enthusiasts: inventory, wear tracking, service reminders, value history, and insurance-ready exports, as an iPhone app.

The App is intended for personal collection tracking only.

3. CaseBack Pro

CaseBack is free to download and offers an optional one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase called "CaseBack Pro".

CaseBack Pro unlocks exactly these features: multiple collections (create, rename, view one at a time, move watches between them), value history, full wear history and rotation statistics, service log, custom reminders (service intervals, warranty alerts, rotation nudges), wishlist, strap inventory, warranty tracking, insurance export (PDF and CSV), iCloud sync, and collector themes.

Always free: unlimited watches, every watch you own shown and counted whatever its collection, current values, one-tap wear logging with the last 7 days, the watch of the day, basic service reminders, Face ID / Touch ID lock, Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, Siri and Shortcuts actions, and marking a watch as sold.

There are no subscriptions or recurring charges. You can restore purchases via Restore Purchases in the App.

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Refunds and billing issues are handled by Apple according to App Store policies.

4. User Data

Data you enter into CaseBack is stored locally on your device, and in your personal iCloud if you enable iCloud sync (Pro).

Deleting the App deletes local data on that device. You are responsible for your own backups. CSV and PDF export (insurance export) is a CaseBack Pro feature.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter.

5. No Market Quotes, Valuations, or Advice

All values displayed in CaseBack are entered manually by you. The App does not provide market quotes, automated valuations, financial advice, or insurance advice.

There is no real-time market data. Amounts shown reflect only your own entries.

PDF and CSV exports are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute a contractual insurance document. Whether an insurer accepts an export is solely up to that insurer.

The developer is not responsible for any financial, insurance, or collection decisions you make based on information displayed in the App.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful personal collection tracking.

You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, redistribute, modify, disrupt, or misuse the App.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

The developer does not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available on every device or operating system version.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

This includes, without limitation, loss of data, inaccurate values, export issues, device issues, or decisions made based on information displayed in the App.

9. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the last updated date above.

Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of France.
