Privacy Policy — Suspect: Hidden Detective

Suspect: Hidden Detective ("the App") is developed by Alex Masure. This policy explains how the App handles your data.
1. Data Collection
The developer does not operate any servers and does not collect personal data for the App itself.
No account or registration is required. You do not enter personal information into the App.
Only local game progress is stored on your device. Levels are generated on-device using deterministic logic; no gameplay data leaves your device except as described below for advertising.
2. Local Storage
Game progress and preferences are saved locally on your iPhone. There is no iCloud sync and no cloud backup operated by the developer.
Deleting the App permanently deletes this local progress. The developer cannot restore it.
3. Advertising
The free version of the App displays ads powered by Google AdMob: optional rewarded ads (for example +1 life or +1 clue) and spaced interstitial ads (approximately 1 win out of 4, never forced mid-round).
AdMob may receive advertising identifiers and device information to serve ads. Personalized ads are shown only if you consent; otherwise non-personalized ads may still be shown.
Consent is managed with Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) for GDPR, followed by Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt when applicable.

4. Analytics and Tracking
The App does not integrate a separate analytics SDK. The only third-party metrics are AdMob's internal advertising metrics.
An ATT / IDFA prompt may appear after the GDPR consent banner. Declining tracking limits personalized advertising.
5. In-App Purchases
The App offers a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase ("Suspect Pro") that permanently removes all ads and unlocks unlimited lives. There are no subscriptions.
Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. The developer does not receive or store your payment information. The price is displayed in the App via the App Store and may vary by region.
You can restore purchases through the App Store / Restore Purchases option.
6. Permissions and Special Access
The App does not request camera, location, contacts, microphone, or health access.
Standard device haptics may be used for feedback during gameplay.
7. Data Sharing
The developer does not sell or share your game progress with third parties.
The only third parties involved are Apple (StoreKit) and Google (AdMob / UMP) for purchases, ads, and consent.

The App is directed at users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
