Privacy Policy — MoodPixel

MoodPixel is designed with privacy as the absolute priority. This policy explains what data the app processes, how it's stored, and your rights. In short: your data belongs to you and stays on your device.
1. Data collected
MoodPixel collects NO personal data on third-party servers.
The app stores locally on your device: your mood entries (date, level, optional note), your selected activities, optional photos you attach to entries, your custom photos used as mood icons, and your preferences (theme, reminders, etc.).
No profile information, advertising identifier, or behavioral data is collected.
2. iCloud sync
If you enable iCloud sync (enabled by default on Apple accounts), your mood data and activities are synchronized across your Apple devices via your personal iCloud account.
This sync is managed directly by Apple via the CloudKit framework. We have no access to your iCloud data.
Photos attached to your entries and your custom mood icon photos are stored locally only and are NOT synced via iCloud.
3. Permissions requested
Photo Library: to attach photos to your mood entries and use custom photos as icons.
Camera: to take a photo directly as a mood icon or attach to an entry.
Notifications: to send you daily reminders if you enable this option.
Face ID / Touch ID: to lock access to the app if you enable this Pro feature.
None of these permissions are required to use the app.
4. Tracking and advertising
MoodPixel contains NO advertisements.
MoodPixel contains NO third-party trackers (no analytics, no audience measurement, no marketing SDK).
No ATT (App Tracking Transparency) permission is requested.
5. In-app purchases
MoodPixel offers a one-time purchase 'MoodPixel Pro' that unlocks all premium features for life.
This purchase is processed directly by Apple via StoreKit. We store no payment information.
No subscription, no renewal, no stored card.
6. Your rights
You can delete all your data at any time by removing the app from your device.
You can export your data in CSV format from Settings (Pro feature).
You can disable iCloud sync from your device's iOS Settings.
7. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the app. The date of last update is indicated at the top of this page.
