Terms of Use — Tessera

1. Apple Standard EULA

Tessera is licensed, not sold, to you. Your use of the App is subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement unless a separate written agreement applies.

2. Description of the App

Tessera is a personal travel map for tracking visited countries, dream destinations, places you have lived, memories, travel statistics, and exports.

The App is intended for personal travel tracking and memory keeping.

3. Tessera Pro

Tessera offers an optional one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase called Tessera Pro.

Tessera Pro may unlock features such as photos by country, multiple visit dates, wishlist destinations, places lived, United States and France regional maps, advanced statistics, achievements, PDF exports, and CSV exports.

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Refunds and billing issues are handled by Apple according to App Store policies.

4. User Content

You are responsible for the content you add to the App, including notes, dates, photos, and exported files.

You agree not to use the App to store or share illegal, abusive, infringing, or otherwise harmful content.

5. Data, iCloud, and Exports

Data you enter into Tessera is stored locally on your device and may be synchronized through iCloud if you enable iCloud sync.

When you export or share data, you are responsible for the exported files and for where you send them.

6. No Official Accuracy Guarantee

Tessera is a personal travel tracking tool. The accuracy of maps, regions, statistics, exports, and displayed data is not guaranteed for legal, administrative, commercial, or professional use.

You should not rely on Tessera as an official source for immigration, residency, taxation, legal, business, or administrative decisions.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful personal purposes.

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, modify, disrupt, or misuse the App or its related services.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

The developer does not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available on every device or operating system version.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

This includes, without limitation, loss of data, inaccurate statistics, export issues, device issues, or decisions made based on information displayed in the App.

10. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the last updated date above.

Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated terms.
