Terms of Use — BudgetJar — Envelope Budgeting

1. Use of the App

BudgetJar is a personal budget management tool based on the envelope budgeting method. The App is provided "as is" and is intended for personal use only.

You are solely responsible for entering and ensuring the accuracy of your financial data. BudgetJar is not a financial advisor and does not provide any investment, savings, or tax advice.

2. In-App Purchases

BudgetJar offers a free version with basic features and a one-time (non-consumable) in-app purchase "BudgetJar Pro" that unlocks all advanced features.

This purchase is final and non-refundable, except as provided by Apple's refund policy. There are no subscriptions.

3. Data and Privacy

All your data is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, your data is synchronized through Apple's services. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.

4. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, source code, and content are the property of Alex Masure and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the App.

5. Limitation of Liability

BudgetJar is a budgeting assistance tool. We do not guarantee that using the App will result in an improvement of your financial situation.

We are not responsible for any data loss resulting from device failure, accidental deletion, or any other event beyond our control.

In no event shall Alex Masure be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App.

6. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the App after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
